ChizzyThaDon Rapper

ChizzyThaDon is a veteran Nigerian rapper who started his professional musical sojourn from the city of Portharcourt, Nigeria. Prior to his professional rap career,rapping for him traditionally began from the city of Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria where he went by his first rap name “ A.D.O Brown “ as a young boy of under 10 years. It simply started from playing back cassette tapes , rewriting rap songs of popular artists, memorizing those songs and performing it to himself in front of a mirror. He kept this form of self-entertainment going on for a long period of time until he started putting down lyrics of his own original songs. Through the years of writing, he has fully developed to become a prolific and poetic emcee and a master in the composition of rap music.

Due to the nature of his father’s job, Chizzythadon has lived in various cities across the country (Nigeria ) including Jos city ( where he was born ), Makurdi, Kaduna, Benin-city , Portharcourt City and so on . He went further to study for his tertiary education in the city of Enugu popularly known as coal city. While he was there, around 2002 , he linked up with some of the emcees in the city.

Chizzythadon relocated to Canada for a post-graduate studies in Project Management. After completing the program, he continued releasing music as usual. Although mainstream success has not happened to him yet, he could be considered as one of most consistent emcees from Nigeria arguably as there are too many released music singles, features and projects attached to his name. Chizzythadon is formerly known as SQUARD and also a former banker.
