Jubilee

Jubilee is a creation of Dawn Hayes and Waylon Hayes, husband, and wife. For years they always wanted to start writing and performing music. It was their passion. Then, in the early spring of 2021, Jubilee was born. Now, Jubilee has been rocking the Grand Strand areas of South Carolina as well as southeast North Carolina. Originally, Jubilee was meant to just be a duo project. But the more music they wrote, they knew that they couldn’t do it justice as a duo. So, now Jubilee is in the process of forming a full group comprised of some sensational musicians. Stayed tuned for Jubilee’s full group show announcement soon!! Until then you can still see the duo, being they constantly have shows weekly.

As for Dawn, From the back seat of a car in 1988 a two year old caught the attention of her parent’s ears as she began to sing a song called, “Shattered Dreams.” This was the first song she ever learned to sing. Little did her parents know that the love of music was so well enriched in their daughter that one day she would grow up to pursue a career in singing and teaching. Today she spreads the love and joy of music to the younger generations as a teacher. Performance has always been a love of hers, and she strives to show others around her that they are capable and can do whatever they put their minds to.
Overall, her passion is to share music with others and to speak to the hearts of those who listen. Music is healing, and she believes it is purifying. Where we fail to come together in many areas in life, music will bring us together. That’s what she wants to be a part of.
Through music I teach, inspire, and unite others.

As for Waylon, he has always had the same little tight knit group of friends since elementary school. When they were early teens they started playing music together and it just stick with Waylon. As he started playing the bass guitar with his friends. They formed a little group that performed locally for a few years. Then, they formed the group called Pyromatic. That was their baby for over 10 years, performing all over Southeastern US. If you were to ask Waylon, music has saved his life on more than one occasion. He lives to share music to world and to be able able to do it with his wife Dawn is truly a blessing!!

Jubilee just released their first single “Wild Canary” worldwide and it’s definitely been gaining traction!! The album is planned for release in May of 2023 so stay tuned!!!
