Hazel and the Red Squirrel
Book Review
From Geoff Carter The Breakfast Show Presenter At Uk Talk Radio聽
I absolutely adored “Hazel and the Red Squirrel” by Paul Buck. This charming children’s book had me completely captivated from start to finish. The story follows the adventures of the adorable Hazel, an English Cocker Spaniel, and her new friend Rufus, a red squirrel, as they journey through the forest together.
What I loved most about this book was the strong emphasis on friendship and working together to overcome challenges. Despite their different species, Hazel and Rufus form an unbreakable bond, and their loyalty and courage in the face of danger is truly inspiring.
The illustrations in this book are absolutely beautiful, bringing the story to life in a way that is both magical and heartwarming. I found myself completely immersed in the world of Hazel and Rufus, eagerly turning each page to see what adventure awaited them next.
Overall, “Hazel and the Red Squirrel” is a delightful read that is sure to capture the hearts of children and adults alike. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves animals, adventure, and heartwarming stories about the power of friendship.
About the Author
In the early years of my childhood, I was forced to grow up rapidly. I spent those years, and all of my teen years in a home for foster children. Throughout my childhood, my dreams of being a police officer or in the military expanded until my early adulthood, where I joined The United States Army. I served in the Army for a standard contract, 聽and ended my service honorably. While serving, I had ambitions to study at The Pennsylvania State University, and I made those clear to my battle buddies. Upon exiting the military, I was accepted into Penn State, and completed my Bachelors Degree of Science in Security Risk Analysis, with a minor in Cyber Security.
After graduating Penn State, I began my professional journey as a Software Engineer for an Insurance Company. During the years working for them, I obtained my Master’s Degree of Science in Software Engineering. My life has had many roads, but as a good author once wrote:
“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;” – Robert Frost
Where this journey takes me; I will not know, however I’ve enjoyed composing, and plan on doing more.
Thank you, for your time, and reading my biography.
